Insider Travel tips from Shana Merlin
Shana's Tips for Austin
- Eat at West Lynn Cafe (1110 West Lynn). It's an upscale vegetarian
restaurant--something hard to find in most cities.
- Downtown and live music is great, but Austin has a lot of natural
beauty to offer--Lake Travis, Mount Bonnell, and the Greenbelt. Try to
have an indoor/outdoor visit.
Shana's Tips for Atlanta
- Eat at Greenwoods (1087 Green St, Roswell, GA) This has
the best home cooking soul food in Atlanta in a rustic atmosphere located near
historic Roswell.
- You need a car to enjoy and explore the city, there's just no other
way.
- Visit Dad's Garage Theatre Company--the best comedy in the
Southeast.
